Malang, ITN.AC.ID – Jajan ini mudah dikenal. Bentuknya yang beragam dengan warnanya yang menarik begitu mengundang selera. Jajanan jaman dulu (jadul) seperti lupis, cenil dan teman-temannya sekarang sulit ditemukan. Padahal karena kenangannya, masih ada konsumen yang mencari jajanan tersebut. Maka untuk mengenalkan kembali jajanan tradisional lupis, cenil, empat mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang (ITN Malang) mengembangkan wirausaha Jajanan Lupis Cenil Cinta Lingkungan (Jalu Centil).

Mereka adalah tiga mahasiswa Teknik Lingkungan S-1 ITN Malang, yakni Anisa (2026029), Anggi Novitasari (2026006), Chania Azzahra (2026028), dan satu mahasiswa Arsitektur S-1 ITN Malang, Siti Fathimah (2022009). Dibawah bimbingan Dr. Hardianto, ST., MT., ide berwirausaha Jalu Centil ini lolos Program Pembinaan Mahasiswa Wirausaha (P2MW) tahun 2023.

“Dengan P2MW ini kami ingin belajar menjadi wirausaha muda yang berbakat. Serta memiliki kemampuan untuk meningkatkan usaha supaya lebih bersaing di masa yang akan datang,” kata Anisa Ketua Tim Jalu Centil saat dihubungi lewat sambungan WhatsApp.

Mengangkat tagline “Kue Jadul Rasa Dulu di Masa Kini” Jalu Centil didirikan pada Maret 2023. Membawa semangat dan harapan jajanan jadul bisa kembali tren di masa sekarang. Tentunya dengan penampilan yang lebih menarik, dan pengemasan yang lebih unik. Serta cara pemasaran yang mengikuti era perkembangan digital.

Jajanan khas Jawa ini terdiri dari lupis yang berbahan beras ketan, ongol-ongol dari klaras tepung kanji dan tepung terigu, horok-horok dari tepung beras, dan cenil dari tepung kanji. Jajanan yang identik dengan parutan kelapa dan siraman gula merah ini bahan-bahannya mudah didapat, dan pengolahannya pun mudah.

“Bahan-bahan yang kami gunakan 100 persen bahan alami tanpa adanya zat kimia tambahan. Hanya saja memang dalam proses pembuatannya harus ekstra sabar. Karena banyak varian yang dibuat, dan tiap varian berbeda cara pengolahannya,” terang mahasiswa asal Malang ini.

Dengan harga terjangkau Jalu Centil dibanderol mulai 7.500 rupiah dengan kemasan mika coklat. Untuk lebih mengesankan tradisional, maka mika dialasi dengan potongan daun pisang, sebelum kemudian jajanan ditata rapi di atasnya.

“Lupis cenil disukai oleh semua kalangan mulai anak-anak hingga kakek nenek, karena rasanya yang manis, gurih, dan unik. Namun sayangnya daya simpan produk tidak bisa tahan lama,” ungkap Anisa.

Biasanya Anisa dan teman-temannya akan membuat Jalu Centil untuk dijual jika tidak ada perkuliahan. Mereka juga membuka layanan pemesanan lewat Instagram dan Tiktok Jalucentil. Atau kalau ingin respon lebih cepat bisa mengirimkan pesan melalui WhatsApp. Pembeli juga bisa membelinya secara langsung di rumah Anisa di Rt 06 Rw 02, Desa Mendalanwangi, Kec Wagir, Malang.
